Chamard Vineyards
The tasting room at Chamard Vineyards in Clinton, Connecticut, is open Tuesday through Sunday year-round. Tours of this preeminent winery are available, too.
DiGrazia Vineyards
DiGrazia Vineyards in Brookfield, Connecticut, produces more than 15 different wines using estate-grown grapes, local fruit and honey, and its founder, Dr. DiGrazia, has worked to develop wines rich in antioxidants. Tours and tastings are available weekends from January through April and daily May through December.
Fitch-Claremont House
This Bed and Breakfast is situated on the grounds of the old Fitch Farm Vineyard in Bozrah, Connecticut, and the innkeepers continue to make award-winning wines that you just might be able to sample when you stay here.
Heritage Trail Winery & Cafe
This Lisbon, Connecticut, vineyard produces a limited number of cases each year of premium varietals of Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay and French-American hybrids using estate-grown grapes. They are open to the public Tuesdays through Sundays for tastings and sales.
Hopkins Vineyard
Located in New Preston in Connecticut's Litchfield County, Hopkins Vineyard produces a dozen different wines and offers self-guided tours and wine tastings Friday through Sunday in January and February, Wednesday through Sunday in March and April and daily the rest of the year.
Sharpe Hill Vineyards
Pomfret in northeastern Connecticut is home to this award-winning winery that is open Friday through Sunday year round for tours, wine tastings and gourmet dining.
Stonington Vineyards
This winery on the southern Connecticut coast near Mystic is best known for its barrel-fermented Chardonnays. The vineyard is open to the public seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for tastings and tours.
