Mainiax is a REALLY CUTE, family-style restaurant with a moose motif. Moose are everywhere throughout the restaurant... moose tracks on the floor, moose stuffed animals hanging on the walls. The restaurant is really cute for kids! The food is EXCELLENT! I took my husband and parents there. We had a wide variety of entrees between us. The 1-lb. lobster dinner special for $9.95 was a SUPER deal and very tasty! We also had the seafood combo that included fried haddock, scallops, shrimp and whole or stripped clams for $16.95. This fried feast left us completely satisfied, to say the least! The seafood was very fresh and enjoyable. Mainiax also serves "land lovers" selections, i.e. ribs, BBQ chicken and steaks. Casual attire. No reservations needed. An all-around nice dining experience! |
