Rating: Five Gold Leaves. The best!

Over the past few years, my husband and I have enjoyed one of the best kept secrets in Stratford, Connecticut--the Shell Station. The restaurant specializes in seafood, but with an Asian flair. We always order from the nightly specials and have never been disappointed.

My husband travels all over the U.S. as part of his job and eats at some of the finest restaurant in the country. I have always thought that Shell Station has the best seafood in Connecticut, but my husband says that he has not had better seafood anywhere.

The almond encrusted white fish with crispy spinach over mashed potatoes is one of the best specials that they offer, but the Cajun fish is also excellent, as well. Shell Station also has an excellent sushi chef on staff; we always order sushi as an appetizer. The meals are also reasonably priced. The almond encrusted white fish (with salad and bread) was about $17.
